Apprentices Kendra and Kelly

Well, I requested a copy of Kendra Todd's book, Risk & Grow Rich: How to Make Millions in Real Estate from the public library. I don't know when I'll get a chance to read it, but I definitely want to -- even though I don't plan to grow rich or to pursue a real estate career.

I also listened to Kelly Perdew's book, Take Command, on audio. Not bad. I knew that he credited his military experience with much of his success, but I didn't know exactly why. As it turns out, this goes beyond merely some vague claims of having "discipline."

Kelly didn't impress me quite as much as Kendra did, but he did have an outstanding record. I think it's just that Kendra Todd had a couple of mind-blowing victories under her belt, and those things stood out. Nevertheless, I love the way Kelly handled his final opponent, Jennifer Massey. (Ugh. I didn't like her at all.)

BTW, I liked these two candidates -- plus Bill Rancic -- a lot more than subsequent winners Randall and Sean.
