Holding up an elevator

There was this incident where I was heading down an elevator. This lady yells out "Hold the door!" and catches the elevator before it goes down. Instead of proceeding down with us though, she hold the door open and continues her conversation with a co-worker, blabbing and blabbing away.

Mind you, they weren't just chatting leisurely. They did appear to be rushing somewhat. Still, they kept talking and talking about work-related stuff while the elevator occupants were forced to wait.

Lady, I understand that you wanted to catch the elevator. Really, I do. If you weren't done talking to your co-worker though, you shouldn't have gotten on board. Finish your work up, THEN board the elevator car.
