TV's "The Apprentice"

I became a fan of "The Apprentice" after watching the Season One finale. It was interesting to see the way legendary winner Bill Rancic distinguished himself from his competitors. After that, I borrowed some DVDs of that season and watched the way other strong competitors (Amy Henry, Nick Warnock, Troy McClure, Kwame Jackson, and company) displayed their own brands of cleverness and business ethics. Even some of those who were eliminated early on, such as Jessie Connors, had some obvious potential.

Then came season two, which involved more corporate sponsorship. I would like to watch that season again so that I can see Kelly Perdew in action and review the business lessons that one could gather from that show. Some people were rubbed the wrong way by his attitude, but I don't recall anything particularly distasteful about him. His final adversary though, Jennifer M., did leave a foul taste in my mouth and in the mouth of several of Trump's cohorts.

Come season three, there were an increasing number of buffoons on the show. However, it did have an outstanding performance from Kendra Todd. Dang, she was good. She blew her competitors away, and scarcely anyone rooted for her final competitor, Tana.

The subsequent winners didn't impress me all that much anymore, and I certainly didn't feel that Piers Morgan deserved to win the celebrity edition.
