Beauty and the Geek last night

I watched last night's episode of Beauty and the Geek. Boy, and I'm glad that Amber is gone! She was pretty shameless, and I think she went pretty far in perpetuating the stereotype of these beauties as women who just get by on their looks.

And frankly, I don't even think that she was attractive.

I kinda miss the likes of Mindi from Season One. She seemed pretty decent and kind. There were a few others too, but their names don't come to mind right now. I try to avoid thinking of the more shamelessly slutty ones, or the ones that engage in too much catfighting. (It's interesting that you don't see that kind of behavior amongst the male geeks.)

BTW, wasn't it interesting that the most popular woman last season whas girl-geek Nicole? I don't think it was just because she was more attainable that the regular beauties. Rather, I think it's because she was genuinely cute and had a brain to boot. Heck, I'd say that she was the most appealing female contestant on the show ever.
