I just read about how Stringbean, the actor in the old Hee Haw show, didn't put much stock in banking. Rather, he used to keep large amounts of cash on his person and talk about how good Hee Haw was to him.

He was murdered in 1974. So was his wife.

Somehow I don't think that was a coincidence.
