Synergy 

There's an article here that talks about combining three different bioassays (ELISPOT, ELISA, flow cytometry) to produce more data that can be possible with only a single one. Ya gotta love it when that happens.

It's called synergy. It's what happens when you combine two or more agents/sources and produce more than just the some of their parts. It's fascinating when that happens, and the best scientists know how to produce it.
