Analyzer donations to the Third World

I used to work in a Third World nation. It was very frustrating, trying to get stuff done with antiquated equipment that often lacked the right parts or the proper documentation.

That's why it's gratifying to see programs like these. This is a donation program wherein a company encourages past customers to donate their old machines to a laboratory in some underprivileged nation. This is contingent on upgrading to a newer machine, of course. Still, the program does remind scientists of the value in donating to less privileged nations, and how this can advance the progress of science in general. It also helps them accomplish that goal.

Science marches on.
