A few days ago, I mentioned that I wrote to LedEngin to ask about one of their products, and that I also gave them a call. I also mentioned that nobody responded.

Well, a couple of days ago, I wrote to follow up. I was polite and understated, but I also stated that nobody had responded.

To their credit, somebody wrote back within a couple of hours. He also provided some helpful insights into their product line. That was quite encouraging. It also shows that one should avoid drawing overly hasty conclusions when a company doesn't respond right away. (And honestly, sometimes it helps to be a little bit emphatic.)
