It's been rough today

I've been having a rough day. I was scrambling to get to an appointment, and so I tried to depart at 10:00 a.m. As I backed out of my garage, I felt that the car was running rough. I figued that maybe the engine was a bit sluggish due to the cold, but after a while, I decided to check the tires. Sure enough, one of them was flat.

I decided to call AAA and have them change my tire. And why not? I was paying for that service, and I had way too many other things to do. Besides, they could change the tire faster and more efficiently than I could. They've got the routine down, and they don't have to worry about things like pulling the jack out of a cramped compartment in the boot of the car.

I have a road hazard warranty on my tires; unfortunately, I suspect that I'll probably need to get the tire replaced. I really don't want to incur these types of costs, especially since I have so many other expenses to deal with. I just had my driveway resealed, for example, and I will probably get vinyl siding and gutters installed on my garage as well. Sigh. Double sigh.
