Stuff to talk about

A few things I want to talk about.

I don't think I'll ever forget this young fella who came up to me as I was about to wash my car at one of these washing bays. He asked if I would be willing to pay him to wash my car. Well, he was a real piece of work.

Even though I was trying to save some money, and even though I had planned on washing the car myself, I agreed to let him do it. Well, I put twelve quarters into the coin slot and let him get to work. After a few minutes, the warning buzzer went off, so he asked me to put another dollar in. I thought that was kinda presumptuous, but I did it anyway.

A few minutes later, the buzzer went off again, and he asked me to put another dollar in. I said, "No, let's wrap this up" and so he did.

I offered him three dollars, which was fairly generous for five minutes of work. He asked for more. At that point, he said, "Look, I'm going to give you these bills back. Why don't you give me a five dollar bill instead?" Now that was really pushy! Heck, I had already asked him to cut the wash short so that I would have a little more cash left to give him.

He's lucky that I didn't call the cops on him or notify the car wash owner. What a jerk.

How about some more pleasant notes? I'm watching Monk right now, and I love that show. I also love reptiles and bioresearch. Oh, and strawberry frozen yogurt.
