This here is an animated depiction of a cytokine ELISPOT assay. It's interactive, but not in a gee-whiz, flash-bang kind of way. The animation gimmicks used are very simple and understated.

The same page also points the reader toward some downloadable PowerPoint slides that one can use in presentations. It also includes some MPEG movies that are likewise helpful. Nifty resources, they are.
