Debra Winger is one of those great actresses who has kept a low profile in recent years. She was one of those women who wasn't glamorous in appearance (though she was certainly nice looking), and who didn't skate by on mere beauty. She had talent, and talent to spare.

She first got started by playing Wonder Girl on the "Wonder Woman" TV series. Her character was named Drusilla, which I thought was a cheesy, unnecessary departure from the comic book canon. I understand departing from Donna Troy's origins, but I do wish that they had kept the character's name.
