Trying to work efficiently when the car's in the shop

My car is in the shop for a tune up right now. This is a huge inconvenience for me, since it'll be a few hours before the car will be ready. I wanted to have this done by a shop that I trust though, so I decided to put up with this.

My home and office used to be a little over a mile from the auto shop in question. Unfortunately, the company moved, and I decided to move at roughly the same time. So right now, I cannot retreat to the comfort of either my office or my homestead as this work is done.

Rats. Darn. Rats.

So I'm sitting in a coffeeshop right now, trying to get some work done and pass the time. Unfortunately, it's not a particularly quiet coffeeshop. It's not their fault, mind you. It's just that certain coffeeshops tend to be frequented by people who focus on reading and getting work done, whereas others are frequented by people who prefer to chat -- sometimes loudly.

And we've got the sun shining distractingly through the huge plate glass window. It's causing a lot of glare on my laptop.

To top it off, my laptop keeps sliding around on this table. It looks like the table isn't very even. If the family beside me decides to vacate their table, I'm moving over to their spot!

Here's hoping that I can get some more productive work done soon.
