So I was watching an episode of Monk when I was struck by how sweet and cute Traylor Howard's character, Natalie Teeger, is. She has this adorable fragility about her. She doesn't look like one of these swimsuit model bombshells, but her cute face and lithe figure just make her exude sweetness and charm.

I like her better than Bitty Schram's character, Sharona Fleming, who was her predecessor. Sharona was funny and an effective foil for Monk, but I felt that their relationship became too adversarial over time. I like that Natalie is more nurturing toward Monk, which is what he needs right now.
